The Cala d’Or Museum of the art of distillation is born with a simple idea: to preserve and share the history of artisanal distillation. For centuries, the art of transforming botanicals, fruits and alcohol into liqueurs has been part of many Mediterranean cultures. This space will bring together traditional tools, old stills and objects linked to this craft to show how distillates were produced long before industrial processes existed.

The museum will not only talk about techniques or tools. It will also tell stories: of those who dedicated their lives to this craft, the evolution of recipes, and the relationship between the land and the ingredients that give character to each liqueur. It will be a place to better understand what lies behind each bottle and to discover why distillation remains, even today, a deeply artisanal job.
